The results of the group stage: Canada, Scotland and two Russian teams will play in the semifinals

In the evening session of the 3rd game day central match was between the Russian teams Anna Sidorova and Vlada Rumiantseva. The winner of this game qualified to the semifinals and will face the winner of group B team Scotland. The tension was felt from the first end. During the whole match, only the team Sidorova was able to "steal" the end of the contender – 2:0 in the 4th end. This success was key one. In the last end Rumiantseva had to "steal" two stones to even the score, but team Sidorova played very accurately and won the end 1:0, and with it the match – 8:5.

The remaining matches of the evening session did not affect the teams in the semifinals.

In group A the Canadians had the 4th victory in a row, beating Finland (10:2).

In group B team Kovaleva defeated Sweden (skip Isabella Wrana) with the score 6:1. And the last game ended between Scotland and the Republic of Korea, in which its 4th consecutive victory in the tournament was won by a team from Europe – 7:2.

Thus, the team of Canada and Scotland passed the group stage without defeats.

Also on Saturday children's tournament within the Arctic Cup were played. The final of the children will be held tomorrow, as well as the decisive matches of the main tournament.

At 09:00 local time (+7 UTC) in the semifinals at the arena "Taimyr" will play:

Canada (Kerry Einarson) – Russia (Alina Kovaleva)

Scotland (Eve Muirhead) – Russia (Anna Sidorova)

At 14:00 local time will begin the final match and the match for third place. After that, the closing ceremony of the tournament will take place.
