On the next track, the Canadians confidently played a match against the Russian junior team Vlada Rumiantseva. After 4 ends the score was 6:0, the Russians scored only one point in the fifth end. The Canadians won 6:1 and were the first to secure a place in the semifinals. The Russians lost their first match in the tournament, now for them the decisive game will be against the team of Anna Sidorova, which will begin at 12:00 Moscow time and will be shown live on Russian Curling TV. The winner of this match will reach the semi-finals from the second place in group A and will play with the team Scotland, which took first place in another group.

In group B, the Scottish team left no chance for the team of the Krasnoyarsk Krai. This is the biggest victory in the history of women's tournaments Arctic Curling Cup. The team of Krasnoyarsk Krai finished the tournament with two victories in four matches.

In the other match played two teams that lost all matches before. The team of the Republic of Korea beat the team of Sweden 6:3. Following the results of this match it became clear that the second place in group B was taken by team Alina Kovaleva (it is better than teams of Krasnoyarsk Krai and Korea according to games between these teams). The Russians in the semi-finals will play against team Kerri Einarson.
