
The Arctic Curling Cup will traditionally be held at the ice arena “Taimyr”, which is located in Dudinka near the bank of the Yenisei river.
It is the northernmost curling arena in the world and the only one located beyond the Arctic circle.

The arena, built with the support of Nornickel, was opened in September 2014. Figure skating Olympic champions Tatyana Totmyanina and Maxim Marinin performed at the opening ceremony. In 2016 the arena hosted the first Arctic Cup, in which the best men's teams of Russia competed.
Since 2017, "Taimyr" annually hosts the international Arctic Cup, in 2017 and 2018 there were many stars of the world curling, and from 23 to 26 May this year they will gather again in Dudinka to participate in the Arctic Cup.

Curlers have repeatedly noted the high level of organization of competitions in Dudinka and convenient arena for the game.
