
Vicki Chalmers, number 2 from team Eve Muirhead, announced that the performance at the Arctic Curling Cup will be her last one. Chalmers has not yet decided on the final retirement. Vicki wants to spend more time with her family, last year she married Andrew Chalmers.
29-year-old Chalmers (née Adams) played with Muirhead for more than 10 years, she became world champion in 2013, won European Championships (2011 and 2017) and the Winter Universiade 2011. In 2014 and 2018 Chalmers played at the Olympic Games. In 2014 Chalmers won the bronze medal in Sochi.

Team Eve Muirhead is one of the favorites of the Arctic Curling Cup. They will play first match on May 23 at 18:00 local time against team Sweden (skip Isabella Wrana).
