Teams Alina Kovaleva and Eve Muirhead will play in the final of WCT Arctic Curling Cup

Scottish team Eve Muirhead was the 1st to win its semi-final. The Scottish team played a very confident match against the Russians from team Anna Sidorova. After 4 ends the Scots were in the lead 5:0, only in the fifth end team Sidorova scored two points, but in the next end the Scots won three rocks, after which the Russian team decided not to continue the game. Team Anna Sidorova team failed to defend its title of the winner of the tournament in 2017.

The second semi-final lasted for 40 minutes longer. Team Alina Kovaleva won two rocks in the first end and held the advantage for a long time, but in the 7th end the Canadian team Kerri Einarson managed to equalize – 4:4. In the 8th end the last throw was for the Russians, but it was not needed, as the Canadians made a mistake in their final throw, and the stone of the Russians remained closer to the center of the "house". 5:4 in favor of the Russian team.

Team Alina Kovaleva and Eve Muirhead already met in the group stage, and Scots won 3:2. In November 2018 these teams played at the European championship in Tallinn, then in a match of 10 ends Russians gained victory – 8:7.

Teams Kerri Einarson and Anna Sidorova will play in the match for the third place. Anna will try to take revenge for the devastating defeat in the group stage with a score of 1:11.
