The Grand Final of the Curling World Cup finished today in Beijing. It was held for the first time this season as part of the World Curling Tour.

In the women's tournament in the final teams of Canada (skip Jennifer Jones) and Switzerland (skip Silvana Tirinzoni) met. Team Jones won 9:6. Canadians were awarded USD 37 000 prize money.

The Russian team of Anna Sidorova took the third place at the final stage.

It was the penultimate stage of the World Curling Tour, and the final in the season 2018/19 starts on May 23rd in Dudinka.

Canadian Shannon Birchard, who has just won the Grand Final of the Curling World Cup, will play in Dudinka in Team Kerri Einarson.
