After the game, the Russians noted that the opponnents really had a great chance to take the game into an extra-end, but made a mistake.

Just a few minutes later, the second match ended on the next track. In it, the game took place in a similar scenario. Russians (skip Anna Sidorova) won the 7th end and took the lead 5:4. In the last end everything was decided by the final throw of the famous two-time world champion Binia Feltscher from Switzerland. She put an excellent rock in the center of the house, and the second Swiss stone was inches closer to the center than the best stone of the Russians, Anna Sidorova team thought about the measurement, but in the end she determined that the Swiss won the end 2:0, and match – 6:5.
