Swiss skip Binia Feltscher-Beeli is one of the most titled curlers among those who will take part in the Arctic Cup in Dudinka from 23 to 26 May.

Feltscher-Beeli has been performing at the highest level for more than 15 years. In 2004 and 2005 Binia in the team Mirjam Ott became the silver medalist of the European Championships. In 2006 at the Olympics in Turin team Ott only in the extra-end in the dramatic final lost to the Swedish team Anette Norberg (6:7).

Since 2007 Feltscher herself became a skip, but success at the world level did not come immediately, largely due to the fact that in Switzerland is very high competition and team Feltscher-Beeli was not always able to qualify for the largest tournaments. At this time, Feltscher 's rivals in Switzerland were such strong players as Mirjam Ott, Silvana Tirinzoni, Anita Paetz and others.

Since season 2012/13 Feltscher began performing with Irene Schori, Franziska Kaufmann, Christine Urech and Carole Howald, and soon made them the largest success. In 2014, the team Feltscher won the gold at the World and European Championships, but failed to qualify for the Olympic Games in Sochi (where Switzerland was represented by the team Mirjam Ott, which suddenly took only 4th place). In 2016, Feltscher again won the World Championships.

This season Feltscher-Beeli invited to the team two young players – Stefanie Berset and Larissa Hari, who have not yet achieved significant success at the adult level. In the Swiss championship in February 2019, the team Feltscher-Beeli "Langenthal" took second place, only in the extra-end losing in the final team Silvana Tirinzoni, who a month later won the World Championships.

The team Feltscher-Beeli will certainly look for the highest places in the Arctic Curling Cup, even though it will be the first visit to the Taimyr for all Swiss curlers.
